A real breath of fresh air after the lackluster Season 3 opener. Too Many Pinkie Pies has a lot of great gags worthy of its titular character, with just one, nit-picky oddity.

What would the effects of a fate-drive Equestria be?
FiMpressions: A Bird in the Hoof
An episode that finally breaks the trend of a static Fluttershy, ignoring her normal timid nature, and instead showing her in her element, caring for woodland creatures. Unfortunately, strong elements of generic slapstick comedy keep this episode from soaring as high as it otherwise could.
FiMpressions: Green Isn’t Your Color
One of the best episodes of the series, taking a common, cliched message, and spinning it in a way that is not only more interesting, but far more realistic and relateable.
FiMpressions: A Dog and Pony Show
A great bit of characterization for Rarity, and some awesome bits with Spike make this a super fun ride.
FiMpressions: The Showstoppers
The Showstoppers is the CMC’s first dedicated episode, and is our first true glance at the goals and ambitions of these characters, and we learn a lot about them.
Perhaps too much.
FiMpressions: The Stare Master
The first true appearance of the CMC, where we get to catcha glimpse of their group dynamic. Also, we get to see more of Fluttershy, but, unfortunately, her appearances begin to feel a bit repetitive at this point, which is made even worse when you consider this episode was a great opportunity to take her development in a different direction.
FiMpressions: Sonic Rainboom
This episode is fantastic. It has nearly everything that makes a great FiM episode. Not to mention it expands on both Rainbow Dash and Rarity in a significant fashion.
FiMpressions: Feeling Pinkie Keen
Feeling Pinkie Keen is an episode that is a lot of fun, with some great back and forth between Pinkie and Twilight. Unfortunately, the moral of the episode was handled in a way that made it easy to misinterpret, and as a result, hampers the strengths of this episode.
